Set off into the heart of the Jeseníky
Ulrichova vila is the heart of our complex in the picturesque village of Loučná nad Desnou. It was originally built as the administrative building and home of the prominent industrialist Gustav Ulrich, who in the first half of the 20th century headed a vast industrial complex known as Ulrichovo bělidlo (Ulrich's Bleachery).
After years of abandonment and decay we rescued the complex and gave it new life. Through a sensitive renovation we preserved the historic details and the architecture that reflects the beauty and ruggedness of the Jeseníky mountains, while adding modern comfort that today takes the form of comfortable apartments for your stays.
The complex offers plenty of space and greenery, a children's playground, a pergola with seating and a BBQ, and parking right by the building. Ulrichova vila is therefore an excellent base both for quiet time with loved ones and for active trips into nature. After a sensitive renovation it now offers thoughtfully designed, comfortable apartments that are about more than just a place to sleep.
Some apartments are designed as cosy attic mezzanines with a unique atmosphere. Apartments 1 and 8 also have their own terrace with seating, ideal for a morning coffee or long evenings.

Hiking
The area is an excellent base for hikes in the Jeseníky – you can reach popular summits such as Šerák or Keprník with views over the entire mountain range.
Cycling
The surrounding area offers cycling routes for all levels – from easy family rides along the Desná river to the bike park in Kouty with MTB trails for advanced riders.
Bikepark Kouty
The largest bike park in Moravia offers four trails of varying difficulty with over 500 m of elevation, berms, jumps, and natural root terrain, with a comfortable six-seat chairlift to the top.
Scooters
From the top station of the Kouty chairlift starts the longest scooter descent in the Czech Republic – 17 km with views of Praděd and the Jeseníky panorama.
Thermal Spa Velké Losiny
One of the oldest spas in Moravia, with healing sulphurous thermal springs, nine pools, water slides, four types of sauna, and massages – ideal for relaxation and recovery after a day in the mountains.

How does check-in work?
Before your arrival we will send you an email with all the important information, including the code for the key safe. From the set arrival time you can check in at any time – everything runs smoothly with no need for an in-person handover.
Can I bring a dog or other pet?
Yes, pets are welcome. They must be declared at the time of booking. A pet fee of CZK 490 applies for the entire stay and house rules must be observed.
Is parking available?
Yes, each apartment has a dedicated parking space. Parking is already included in the price of the stay.
Can I change or cancel a booking?
Of course – it just depends on the type of booking you have chosen:
Refundable booking With this type you have full flexibility. You can cancel free of charge up to 5 days before arrival. If you cancel within a shorter period or fail to show up, we charge 100% of the total price. Just want to change the dates? That's usually not a problem – simply arrange it with us, and if there's an available date in the same price category, we'll be happy to adjust everything.
Non-refundable booking This type offers a better price in exchange for fixed conditions – the full amount is paid in advance and is non-refundable on cancellation or no-show. Even so, one pleasant exception applies: if you need to change the dates, arrange it with us and together we will find a solution in the same price category.
